About the Ingredients

Bakuchiol is an extract from the leaves and seeds of the babchi plant. Babchi, or Psoralea corylifolia, is a plant that’s used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine for centuries. It is a newer discovery as a skin care ingredient, known as a the “natural Retinol alternative.” Bakuchiol has powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties, which promote skin health, healing, and reduce the affects of aging. Massage palms together and immediately press evenly over face and neck with flat palms, while skin is still damp with toner. Island of the Moon is a serum with an aloe and hyaluronic acid base. All serums are meant as a nutritive base to be used with or finished off with a moisturizer. Mix with or finish off with a moisturizer. Use 1 or 2 times daily.
