The Elaa Ritual

Stir jar with clean utensil. Apply a layer over face, lips, neck, and décolleté and gently move fingertips in a circular motion covering all areas for one to two minutes. Leave on as a mask for 5 to 10 more minutes or until it dries. Or keep mask moist with Moonlight Mist for longer enzyme action. Remove with a moist washcloth.

This type of "mechanical" (scrub) exfoliator, is ideally used in rotation with a "chemical" (100% natural fruit acids) exfoliator, Glow - exfoliating Fruit AHA Dew. The two work collaboratively to most effectively to promote cellular renewal and reveal fresh, glowing skin.

About the Ingredients

Pineapple is rich in Alpha Hydroxy Acids that exfoliate dead skin cells and reveal fresh, radiant skin. Pineapple is a natural astringent. It helps tighten skin and shrink pores! Pineapples contain an active enzyme called bromelain, which is a powerful anti-inflammatory substance. The Vitamin C in pineapples helps in cell and tissue repair plus boosts collagen production. The antioxidants in pineapple protect against free radicals. Pineapple helps to dissolve blackheads and remove whiteheads and clogged pores. The enzymes in pineapple also aid in reducing hyperpigmentation.

Turmeric has potent Anti-Inflammatory properties. Turmeric is excellent for acne because it is a natural antiseptic and helps to keep bacteria from spreading. It helps tp reduce dark circles. Turmeric also protects against sun damage & aging and soothes dry or irritated skin.

Aloe Vera is known as “the silent healer” and considered a sacred plant in many cultures. It contains a staggering 18 out of 20 amino acids, which are directly linked to the repair of damaged tissue and cell regeneration. The presence of B-complex vitamins and folic acid contribute to aloe's tremendous abilities in new cell synthesis, along with an impressive mineral content (including significant quantities of calcium, zinc, selenium and magnesium). Ample amounts of antioxidants, including vitamins A, C, and E, fight oxidative stress and free radicals and bring powerful anti-aging qualities. Skin is gifted the ability to retain firmness and hydration. A special compound known as allantoin is present in aloe, and is a highly effective skin softener, skin protectant, and skin healer.

Green tea contains polyphenols or powerful antioxidants. It can improve skin’s signs of aging, wrinkles, texture, elasticity, and density. Green tea helps to stimulate blood flow and bring more oxygen to the skin cells.
